Design & Display
The Realme 6 comes with a plastic body and plastic frame. It is splash resistant despite the lack of any official IP rating. There’s a quad-camera setup lies at the back of the phone. The home button is on the right side of the frame and it doubles as a fingerprint. It is fast, accurate, and resides in a comfortable position for unlocking. Realme 6 comes with a 90Hz refresh rate panel which makes each swipe motion as smooth as silk. Users are able to immerse into entertainment experience by its 6.5-inch display and screen to body ratio up to 90.5%.
Cameras
Realme 6 is pretty average in terms of its cameras. It has a quad-camera setup with 64MP, f/1.8 primary shooter, 8MP, f/2.3 ultra-wide lens, 2MP, f/2.4 macro sensor, and 2MP, f/2.4 depth sensor. The macro lens lacks details and come out blurry and washed out most of the time. The primary camera here is the 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor. In terms of selfies, you get a 16MP shooter. It does capture acceptable images with good enough sharpness and dynamic range. Selfie portraits are good as long as you have a balanced light in the surroundings.
It can record up to 1080 @30fps videos from the front camera, though it doesn’t have any stabilization. Realme has included slow-mo feature here and it works fine.
Performance & Memory
Realme 6 sports MediaTek’s Helio G90T chipset with 12nm Mobile Platform which is good for midrange phones. It has an Octa-core (2×2.05 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) CPU and Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. It comes with a 4/6/8GB RAM variant. Even with the lesser 4GB RAM variant, tasks like multitasking and apps opening is pretty quick.
Battery
Realme 6 comes with a 4300mAh battery along with 30W fast charging. Realme claims that this 30W charger can charge Realme 6 up to 100% in 55 mins.
